A late winter still life with gathered Chinese lantern bulbs and my favorite sugar bowl, which I’ve painted several times.
I study I did of the Harbor right near my house. I’m going to confess that I actually snuck out during our first 2020 pandemic lockdown here in Maine. But I actually didn’t run into anybody on this private beach, so I guess it was OK.
I found these beautiful flowers in a small garden of a local church. I’m not sure if they’re actually called golden trumpets. Let me know if I’m wrong!
This painting was done from the parking lot of the Riverview Hayfields Preserve, in Thomaston, Maine. This is a 1400 acre project of the St. George’s River land trust, designed to bridge the spaces between the Saint Georges river and the whiskey river.
