An Angel in Maine

An Angel in Maine, 10 x 15″, oil on board. $625 framed.

I love painting sculptures! I painted this during the pandemic at a cemetery in the town of Belfast, Maine. There are very few statues in the cemeteries near here, possibly because of traditional New England puritanism, or past poverty.

A nice old hand-carved frame with real gold.
The painting looks more gray in some of the photos, but it looks warmer in life like the top photo.
On location. Originally it was a wider painting, but I decided to edit it down.
