Some of you may know that I have spent a significant time up in Maine in the last couple years. Well, now it is official! I now live in Rockland, Maine!
Mid-coast Maine is a great place, a nice mixture of both nature and culture, plus it is only a 6 hour drive from NYC, if I have an urban withdrawal.

Rockland is vibrant small city, with a busy downtown full of many award winning restaurants, in fact garnering an award as one of the “Nine best small food towns in the US in 2012” from the Huffington Post. The National Geographic also chose it as one of the best 100 adventure town in the US. Throw in a a slew of galleries, an independent movie theater, the Strand, and even a regional art museum, the Farnsworth, plus great landscape to paint, and all in all it’s a pretty cool place to live.
