While I have been working in The Toledo area,  I visited the Toledo Museum of Fine Arts several times. Located in Toledo’s  Old West End,a crumbling and beautiful historic neighborhood, the museum surprises with a well curated and friendly atmosphere. They have a great collection of historic  paintings as well as a modern building with a seemingly very thorough glass exhibit. Here are some of my favorites. well worth a trip if you are in the area.

Lake Nemi, Italy, Sanford Gifford Robinson

And here is a larger gallery. In the museum you will find everything, a Rembrandt, Monet’s, Gibert Stuart’s, a fine collection to study and sketch from.

Also If you are interested in seeing small, inexpensive paintings I have for sale or auction take a look at my small painting blog by clicking  here.
